Supply Chain Dilemma
For a Sales class, we have to find a solution to a supply chain dilemma. “Our” company sells fish around the world. 60% of our volume comes from smaller deliveries and about 40% of our volume comes from selling full container loads to bigger importers. However, “our” company started to notice that sales from some bigger importers started to decline. The reason: They started to buy directly from “our” own suppliers now.
This is of course a big problem for us and we have to find a strategic option for this case. What can we do short term and what can we do long term to solve this problem but still be able to realize the necessary growth in the future?
It would be really great to hear some suggestions from you as we struggle a lot gathering information on this specific topic. For any kind of answer we are very thankful!
