DHL scores £100m deal with TK Maxx

DHL Exel Supply Chain’s green credentials have helped the company scoop the renewal of a contract with retailer TK Maxx for £100m. TK Maxx says the five-year deal – which represents the largest and longest contract it has ever signed – will help with its ambitious growth strategy for the UK and Europe. A spokeswoman for TK Maxx says the green challenge played a key role in awarding the contract: “TK Maxx has a commitment to reduce its carbon footprint, while certainly DHL has a number of green transport solutions,” says the spokeswoman.
